Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy, is a part of healthcare that focuses on recovery from physical injury and improving well-being. It plays a crucial role in restoring and maintaining optimal physical function, managing pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals of all ages. At Infinite Podiatry & Physio, our Physiotherapists utilise a range of evidence-based treatments to address musculoskeletal conditions. Our goal is to help you lead a productive and fulfilled life free of pain or injury.
Our Physiotherapists are experts at managing a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
At Infinite Podiatry & Physio, we take pride in our team of highly skilled and experienced HCPC registered clinicians. With years of practice and a commitment to ongoing education, our clinic offers the expertise needed in providing compassionate and personalised care to our patients.
Having a multidisciplinary approach with the involvement of Physiotherapists and Podiatrists is what we specialise in via our Joint Physio & Podiatry Biomechanical Consultation. We are the only provider that delivers this service in Herefordshire and by addressing the intricacies of your musculoskeletal system and gait patterns, our collaborative approach is designed to empower you to move better, feel better, and lead a healthier, more active life.
We understand that each patient is unique. That’s why we take a patient-centred approach, designing customised treatment plans that consider individual goals, medical history, and current physical condition. Whether you are training for a marathon or just looking forward to enjoying your evening walk, we are ready to help you.
To achieve this we employ a wide range of specialised treatments and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, shockwave therapy, and more. We are also proud to provide specialised programs for sports injury rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery.
Physiotherapy is versatile and can address a broad spectrum of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. It is also valuable in improving posture, balance, and overall physical function.
Physiotherapy incorporates exercises and techniques aimed at enhancing flexibility, strength, and functional mobility. These improvements contribute to a higher quality of life and enable individuals to engage in daily activities with confidence.
Beyond recovery, physiotherapy plays a crucial role in injury prevention and long-term health maintenance. By addressing underlying issues and providing guidance on exercise and lifestyle changes, physiotherapy helps individuals stay active, healthy, and injury-free.
Our clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including manual therapy for hands-on treatment, personalised exercise prescription, shockwave therapy for soft tissue (ligament/ tendon/ muscle) injuries, and specialised programs for sports injury rehabilitation (rotator cuff, ACL etc.) and post-surgical (hip and knee replacement) recovery.
Furthermore, with our multidisciplinary approach with the involvement of both Physiotherapists and Podiatrists, we are well versed in assessing and delivering superb outcomes for all lower limb injuries such as foot, ankle, knee and hip pain.
During your initial visit, our physiotherapist will conduct a thorough assessment, including a discussion of your medical history and current concerns. Based on this assessment, a personalised treatment plan will be developed, which may include various physiotherapy treatments and exercises which will be discussed with you. Subsequent sessions will involve hands-on treatment and guided exercises, with regular progress assessments and adjustments as needed.
We believe in a collaborative approach to physiotherapy. Our physiotherapists work closely with each patient to set achievable goals and design a treatment plan that aligns with their unique needs and aspirations. Your active involvement in the process is essential for a successful outcome.
Sydoni Skidmore2024-06-05 I visited Infinite Physio with a knee injury that had been there for some months. The Physio there, Shehan managed to diagnose my injury and create a plan for me to get back to being pain free. He considered my needs and lifestyle (lots of stairs in my apartment, gotta be careful!) in the program. I felt much better after just a couple of appointments. Big thanks to Infinite Physio for their expertise and for taking such good care of me. Now I can finally tackle those stairs without feeling like I'm gonna fall apart. If you're struggling with a knee problem, definitely check them out. Their professionalism and how much they actually care make a world of difference! Adrian T2024-06-05 Very good session and a detailed review of my neck and shoulder issues. Shehan was very thorough, professional and clearly very good at what he does. Jayne Gregory2024-06-04 I am so glad I went to Infinite Podiatry for help with plantar fasciitis and hip pain. I was paired up with Tadel (podiatrist) and Shehan (physiotherapist). Both were very knowledgeable and lovely to work with, and I always felt confident that both my diagnoses and treatment plans were well considered. I am now at a point where I hardly ever think about my foot, and my hip is well on the way to being pain free too. I have been discharged from care now (very pleased to say that at no point did I feel I was being kept on past what was needed), and I have a maintenance plan to move forward with. I would recommend 100%. Kumar Grant2024-05-29 Very professional and highly expert. I felt intelligently cared for. Beyond the treatments, Shehan (my physio), checked up with me and made me feel like he cared about my progress and healing. Will be recommending. Sathya Manatunga2024-05-21 I cannot recommend Infinite Physio enough! I came to them with shoulder pain from a rotator cuff injury that had been bothering me for months. I started Shockwave Therapy as part of my treatment plan and after 4 sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in my shoulder. Shehan was professional, and supportive throughout my care. Thanks to Infinite Physio my shoulder is now pain free, and I am back to normal. I highly recommend Infinite Physio for their exceptional care and effective treatment. Simon Marr2024-05-13 Delighted with the consultation that I had today with Infinite Physio. Very efficient and informative. Many thanks Shehan - great job!!!! Matthew Jones2024-05-03 Shehan was fantastic at diagnosing my knee injury and getting me booked in for an appointment the same day. He was extremely professional and thorough at checking everything, even the aftercare support has been great too. I'd highly recommend him!! Julie Day2024-04-30 Holistic surroundings, professional yet relaxed service. Treatment plan very successful. Hilda Wilson2024-04-26 I am very pleased with the service I received at Infinite Physio. I found Sheeran to be very professional and experienced. I am very pleased to report that thanks to Sheena I am now pain free. I am happy to recommend his services. Joseph Dignam2024-04-25 I contacted Infinite Podiatry after having Physio on the NHS, Acupuncture and purchasing every special insole I could get and nothing helped with the plantar fasciitis I have been suffering with for over 18 months. Wasn't quite sure if Shockwave treatment would would but I had run out of options. From the first contact with Infinite Podiatry I thought how professional and knowledgeable they seemed. We discussed a treatment plan and I was sent some physio exercises to do in tandem with the Shockwave therapy. The physio is run in an app, in which you can give feedback on your pain levels and give further details. Personally I think this is a fantastic tool, they review the information and give you feedback if required, so you don't need to wait for your next appointment to get updates. After 5 sessions, it's like having a part of my life back, I'm no longer having to use crutches to take the weight off the foot and and can get around much easier. It's not a miracle cure, you have to put some effort in with the physio, but it feels pretty close to it after 18 months of debilitating pain. Highly recommend you give Infinite Podiatry a try.
